These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of our website, https://thebesttrend.lk, and to orders placed through our website.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, subject to any rights available to you under applicable Sri Lankan law.
About Us
The Best Trend LK is a Sri Lankan home-based ecommerce business offering household products, personal-care items, lifestyle products, electronic accessories, smart gadgets, and other general consumer goods.
Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications, prices, and availability displayed on our website are accurate.
However, product colours and appearance may vary slightly due to photography, lighting, manufacturing batches, device displays, or other reasonable variations.
Product packaging, included accessories, and minor design details may change where such changes do not materially affect the product’s main purpose, quality, or functionality.
Where important product-specific conditions apply, including warranty information, they will be stated on the relevant product page where applicable.
Prices
Unless otherwise stated, all prices displayed on our website are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
We may update prices and promotions from time to time.
If an obvious pricing or system error affects an order before it has been processed, we may contact the customer to confirm the correct price before proceeding.
Where payment has already been received and an order cannot reasonably be fulfilled because of an error, an appropriate refund will be arranged.
Promotions and Special Offers
Promotional prices, discount codes, bundles, limited-time offers, or other special offers may be subject to additional conditions displayed with the relevant promotion.
Promotions may have eligibility requirements, expiry dates, stock limitations, or other clearly stated conditions.
Any applicable delivery or other charges will be shown separately where relevant.
Orders and Acceptance
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate contact, billing, payment, and delivery information.
After an order is submitted, the customer may receive an electronic order confirmation.
An initial confirmation acknowledges that we have received the order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted or dispatched.
We may contact the customer to verify order or payment information before dispatch.
An order may be declined or cancelled where reasonably necessary due to circumstances including:
- Stock unavailability.
- Incorrect or incomplete order information.
- Payment failure or inability to verify payment.
- Obvious pricing or website errors.
- Suspected fraudulent or abusive activity.
- Delivery limitations or an inability to fulfil the order.
Where payment has already been received for an order that we cancel, an appropriate refund will be arranged.
Payments
Available payment methods are those displayed during checkout and may include direct bank transfer, cash on delivery, card payments, or other payment methods made available from time to time.
Where a third-party payment provider processes a payment, the transaction may also be subject to that provider’s terms, privacy policy, and security procedures.
The Best Trend LK does not require customers to provide us directly with complete card security codes or online-banking passwords.
For direct bank transfers, an order may remain on hold until payment has been received and reasonably verified.
Customers may be required to provide an order number, transaction reference, or proof of payment where necessary.
Delivery
We currently deliver to eligible addresses within Sri Lanka.
Available delivery services and the applicable delivery charge will be displayed during checkout before the customer confirms the order.
Delivery charges may vary depending on factors including the delivery destination and total package weight.
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and may be affected by courier operations, weather conditions, public holidays, incorrect or incomplete addresses, unexpected events, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing:
- A complete and accurate delivery address.
- The correct postal code where applicable.
- An active telephone number.
- Any other information reasonably required for successful delivery.
Additional delivery costs may apply where a parcel has to be resent because incorrect information was supplied by the customer or delivery repeatedly failed for reasons attributable to the recipient.
Order Cancellations
Customers should contact us as soon as possible if they wish to cancel an order.
Where reasonably possible, an order may be cancelled before dispatch.
Once an order has been dispatched, any request relating to the product will be handled in accordance with our Refund and Returns Policy and applicable Sri Lankan law.
Returns, Replacements and Refunds
For products that do not carry a stated product-specific warranty, customers must notify us within 2 calendar days of delivery if an eligible product is received:
- Damaged.
- Defective.
- Incorrectly supplied.
- Incomplete or missing essential included items.
The customer must provide the relevant order number together with a clear description of the issue and clear photos or videos showing the product, packaging, and reported problem.
Where a product-specific warranty is offered, defects covered by that warranty may be reported during the applicable warranty period, subject to the warranty conditions stated on the relevant product page or provided with the product.
Delivery-related issues, including transit damage, an incorrect product, or an incomplete order, should still be reported within 2 calendar days of delivery.
Eligibility requirements, exclusions, inspection procedures, replacement options, refund conditions, and other applicable requirements are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy:
Nothing in these Terms or our Refund and Returns Policy excludes or limits any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable Sri Lankan law.
Warranty
A site-wide product warranty is not automatically provided unless one is specifically stated.
Where a product-specific warranty is offered, the applicable warranty period and conditions will be stated on the relevant product page and/or provided with the product.
Unless otherwise stated, a product-specific warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Misuse or improper handling.
- Accidents or negligence.
- Incorrect installation.
- Liquid damage.
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications.
- Incorrect voltage or power supply.
- Normal wear and tear.
Delivery-related damage should be reported within the applicable 2-calendar-day delivery issue reporting period.
These warranty terms do not exclude or limit any rights or remedies available under applicable Sri Lankan law.
Product Use and Safety
Customers should use products only for their intended purpose and follow any instructions, warnings, installation requirements, voltage requirements, or safety information provided with the product or on the relevant product page.
The Best Trend LK is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper installation, unauthorised modification, or use contrary to the applicable instructions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
If you believe a product presents a safety concern, please stop using it where appropriate and contact us promptly.
Website Use
You agree not to:
- Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes.
- Attempt to obtain unauthorised access to the website, customer accounts, servers, or related systems.
